States. George Grant transported four Scottish Black Angus
cattle from Scotland to his ranch on the Kansas Praire in
1873. He crossbred the bulls with native Texas Longhorn
cattle and produced a superior breed of hornless black calves
that wintered well on the Kansas prairie.
These stamps are 52 years old and post office fresh.
