Recent U.S. customs changes have put Japan Post's EMS on hold for some shipments to the US (like parcels or gifts over $100). We're switching to DHL?it's reliable, but the shipping costs are pretty high. Sorry for the extra expense, and thanks for your understanding. 

For orders under $2,500 to the U.S., DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is required, so all customs duties and taxes are included in the shipping cost.
