Mens Vintage 1910-1920s black wool frock coat frockcoat

A vintage black wool frock coat dating to 1910-1920 - ideal for formal wear, Steampunk, Victorian Costume Event etc.  

In black wool fabric with silk grosgrain insets on the lapels.  The coat is double breasted with silk covered buttons.  One silk covered button on each cuff, and the cuff buttons can be opened.  

No outer pockets.  

At the back there are two silk covered buttons over the vent.  

Inside the coat has a quilting across the back and shoulders.  There is one slip in pocket and two more " secret " pockets in the coat tails where gentlemen would keep their gloves.  

There is no damage but you may wish to dry clean to freshen as has been in storage for 60 years.
