The Made in Japan Traditional Series is the result of a fusion of Fender's traditional instrument-making aesthetics and refined Japanese craftsmanship. The authentic Fender DNA is brought back to life with solid Made in Japan quality.
The Made in Japan Traditional Late 60s Stratocaster features a gloss-finished basswood body and a 9.5" radius U-shaped maple neck with 21 vintage-style frets. A six-saddle vintage-style Synchronized Tremolo bridge and the original pickups selected for the Traditional Series give it a realistic and musical vintage tone. The narrow nut width is designed to be easy to play for Japanese players. Solid guitar craftsmanship and flexible answers to players' needs are reflected in this series.
