This air switch is normally open and closes with air pressure to provide continuity across two male spade terminals. It has a 1/8" mpt threaded end. They are primary used in CleanBurn waste oil burners, but they sometimes work well to interrupt thermostat wires in the event that the air compressor is accidently turned off.
