You are buying our (new for 2023) RS2000 / MEXICO Mk2 Escort replacement oil pressure gauge feed pipe.

Replaces the original FORD ESCORT MK2 RS2000 item directly but see very important notes below.

Made from heavy duty TFE hose

With high quality stainless steel fittings

1.3 metres long

Fits to the original Ford male to male fitting screwed into the engine block by Ford from new on Mk2 RS2000 / Mk2 Mexico and many Capri Pinto engines. This original Ford fitting will have a male cone shape for the pipe to fit and seal onto.

Fits to the original FORD oil pressure gauge fitted as standard on the RS and Mexico 5 dial dash cluster.

Does not fit Crossflow engines as supplied.

Fittings use an M10 x 1.5 thread both ends

May require a non-standard or split bulkhead grommet

IMPORTANT NOTE 1 : On an original RS2000 / MEXICO Mk2 Escort the original bulkhead hose hole may need enlarging, or, the nut fitting on the end of the hose grinding down a touch so the hose end can pass through the original Ford size bulkhead hole. We are looking at sourcing a smaller fitting to fix this and will update this item once available. Sorry to put you to this trouble. The trouble is worth it though, as this is a high-quality hose, way better than the original Ford item.

NOTE 2 : Non RS / MEXICO models retro fitted with an RS dash board can cut a bulkhead hole to a suitable size or use another hole, maybe the speedo cable hole.

You will receive the item exactly as in the photo.

Will replace the original Ford gauge line on RS2000 and Mexico Mk2 Escorts providing the original FORD male to male engine block adaptor is still fitted to the engine.

You will require an oil pressure tee piece to use the mechanical oil pressure gauge and a dash oil warning light sender together (not supplied) aswell as a male to male adaptor to hook up the tee piece to the oil hose, this exact fitting is not currently available from us sadly.
