A very charming Victorian silver plated claret jug with a hinged domed lid and fern engraved mount. Unusual cast scroll handle with a bird motif. The flared shaped clear glass body has beautiful engraved butterflies and ferns finished with a star cut base. In very good original silver plated condition.
