For sale 3 ticket stubs from my weekend trip to Chicago in 1984. After retiring from the big leagues, Joe Hoerner opened a travel agency in Village Square Shopping Center in Hazelwood MO called Cardinal Travel. We accompanied Joe and other guests on a weekend junket to Chicago, staying at the downtown Westin Hotel with the Cardinals team, and attending the 3 Cards vs. Cubs games at Wrigley Field. We were fortunate to witness The Sandberg Game on Saturday June 23, 1984. Ryne went 5 for 6 in the game with 2 game tying home runs off Cards ace Bruce Sutter. In Friday's Game Sandberg had a single and 2 doubles, and in Sunday's finale he tripled. For the 3 game series Ryne batted 9 for 15 (.600).
