A simple method to check the power board:

Turn off the power and disconnect the cable connection between the power board and the motherboard. Then turn on the power and observe the backlight to see if it is constantly on. If it is, the power board is good. If it is not, either the power board is faulty or the backlight is faulty

Tips for repairing TV:

The power cycle, backlight switch, lines on the screen, or absence of pictures on this model are due to poor screen performance. Replacing the power board does not solve these problems.

•  If your TV doesn’t turn on, it could be the power supply board.

•  If you see very dim video or no video on the screen, but you know your TV has power and is on, then the power supply could be bad.
