Description
Gibson B-25-12 1964 Used Acoustic Guitar
This is the 12-string model "B-25-12N," released around the same time as the 6-string model of Gibson's popular compact B-25, released in 1962. This particular instrument was manufactured in 1964 and features an early up-belly bridge and bridge pins. It features a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck, a thin, large original pickguard, a rosewood fingerboard with an up-belly bridge, and original Kluson 6-perch plate tuning machines. Like the 6-string model, it offers a crisp, percussive yet mild sound, with a distinct tone that differs from the sustained Martin-style 12-string. There is a crack in the center of the body top, but it has been repaired. While there are scratches and signs of wear, the instrument is in excellent condition considering its age. The adjustable bridge is set as low as possible, and the string height is low, providing excellent playability. It comes with a chipboard case.
