This book is in excellent condition. The only major flaw is the owner's name written in ink on the inside front cover. Most copies I've seen online are pretty worn down, so it's worth the extra price. This is an unread copy purchased from the original owner. It still has the original price sticker from Illinois University Champaign-Urbana bookstore (Illinois Union Bookstore) from the 1960s. The original owner never read it and kept it in shelf and box storage. I kept it in box storage for the last 40 years. It is clearly an older book. The cloth cover dye has lost some of its richness and shows fading along the top of the covers and along the spine--typical of books being stored on a shelf exposed to light. There are minor dings on the outside corners of the covers, but no paper showing. The covers lie flat. The pages lie flat. The spine is straight and perpendicular to the covers. Top and bottom of the spine is crumpled inwards but that's typical of shelf-stored books. Binding is excellent. Book feels tight when opened with no give. Pages are firmly attached. No loose, pulling loose, or missing pages. The pages themselves are in excellent condition. They are cream-colored and have no marks or writing other than the owner's name written in ink on the inside front page and a small number in light pencil in the title page (I have no idea what it means). There are no tears, rips, folds, or bends that I see on any of the pages.
