Stewarded with care, offered with reverence — may these
volumes find a shelf where their wisdom continues to serve.
A six-year run of Lumen Vitae, rebound in quiet
dignity. These volumes carry the pulse of post-conciliar Catholic pedagogy —
each issue nestled within crisp, consecutively paginated annuals. Bound in
uniform grey with silver gilt, they whisper of seminary shelves and careful
stewardship. Light wear and shaken spines speak of use, not neglect. A rare
chance to hold six years of theological reflection in one steady breath.
Ideal for seminary libraries, Catholic educators, or
theological researchers
If these volumes find a home on your shelves, a kind review
would be greatly appreciated.
Book conditions are:
Ex-library. Originally published in
paperback quarterlies but have been rebound into hardcover volumes. This lot
consists of 6 hardcover volumes (which would have been 24 separate paperback
issues). Each hardcover volume contains
four quarterlies for the specific year stamped on the spine. These were
obtained from a Jesuit center that has closed. Each volume is not individually
graded and may contain one or more of the following: Rubber stamp marking on
top edge and on title page. Pencil markings on end pages (typically on title
page and following page). Spine slant. Cocked spine. Shaken spine. Page block
sag. Soiled edges. Light soiling/scuffing to boards/spine. Clear tape on boards/spine. Light handling and shelf wear.
Tanned/foxed pages. I didn’t notice any other defects or intrusive markings to
the interior pages but may have sporadic pencil markings/soiling. Please see photos for more details. Volumes and
corresponding years are:
Volume 26: 1971
Volume 27: 1972
Volume 28: 1973
Volume 29: 1974
