This is a wonderful Vintage National Rifle Association Stein. This small stoneware stein, made in Germany, features the N.R.A. logo of the flying eagle holding two rifles in it’s talons over a stars and stripes shield. This piece might have been produced in commemoration of the N.R.A.’s centennial. A hinged pewter cap covers the stein. Measuring appr 3 3/4” height to rim, 4 1/4” including lid and appr 3” across at base rim, this stein is in very good condition showing very minimal wear from age and handling and being on display. There are no chips or cracks to the ceramic. There is a little paint wear to the gold trim in spots, I have tried to show examples in the photos. There are some tiny surface spots here and there. These are merely manufacturing imperfections and can also be seen in photos. The pewter cap shows some minor surface wear with a few tiny scratches or nicks. All is evident in photos, so please examine photos closely to properly determine the condition. Zinn is marked on the underside of the lid. Made in Germany is marked on the bottom of the stein. 0.25 L, representing 1/4 of a liter, Overall, it is a very nice collectible stein that would make an excellent addition to any vintage stein collection. Perfect for collectors of N.R.A. memorabilia.
