Up for sale is a beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Fob/Medallion for a Pocket Watch Chain from the UK/London/1933. The fob is in the form of a medal surrounded by laurel wreaths and a crown at the top, and in the middle are crossed saxophone and banjo. There is an inscription on blue enamel: MELODY MAKER DANCE BAND CONTEST. The extremely well-preserved fob is hallmarked on the backside: "Т&Co Ld" for silversmith Troy&Co Ld, "lion passant" for sterling silver, "jaguar head" for London, and "S" for 1933. See the dimensions and the condition from the photos, they are an integral part of the description. It is in mint condition with normal signs of use for its age. You get what you see in the pictures. Purchased from a private collection in Lincoln - Lincolnshire.
