88 mm BCD Chainrings for Shimano M985
The 88 BCD for Shimano's XTR M985 crankset was one of the first additions to our chainring line. We added this early on because this crankset is one of our favorites for durability, weight, q-factor, and aesthetics. These rings are beautifully machined to match the contours of the crankset.

Drop-Stop® technology. On Wolf Tooth’s patented wide/narrow chainring, the wide side of the tooth has maximum contact on the drive side which spreads the load and improves chainring life. The narrow side allows clearance for mud and debris which reduces friction.
Alternating wide/narrow tooth pattern prevents chain derailment
Compatibility
This ring ONLY fits the Shimano M985 “Race” crankset that looks like this:
The Shimano M980 “Trail” crankset uses our 104 BCD chainrings in stainless steel or aluminum
If using a 9-speed drivetrain use a 10-speed chain (shifts and works well on a 9-speed drivetrain and fits the ring tighter for better chain retention).

120 BCD Chainring
120 BCD cranksets were introduced with SRAM 2x10 drivetrains and are excellent candidates for a 1x conversion with our patented Drop-Stop® chainrings. These rings will allow you to convert your 120 BCD crankset, like the SRAM XX and others, to a 1x drivetrain.

Compatibility
- These rings fit any 120 BCD crankset or 4-bolt spider.
- For SRAM cranksets you must use the stock M10x.75 bolts with a shoulder on them. These are not standard bolts and Wolf Tooth's bolts will not work with this chainring. Note that only about 3 threads will engage (same with the stock SRAM rings)
- SRAM is the only supplier of the M10 x .75 bolts
- 36t is the smallest number of teeth that fits on a 120 BCD
- If using a 9-speed drivetrain use a 10-speed chain (shifts and works well on a 9-speed drivetrain and fits the ring tighter for better chain retention).
- Chainline - 51mm for 36t and 52mm for 38t (38t is wider for more chainstay clearance)
- NOT compatible with FSA 4 bolt cranksets
110 BCD Asymmetric 4-Bolt Chainrings for Shimano Cranks
Wolf Tooth was first to market with cyclocross 1x specific chainrings because we saw cyclocross as the perfect use for our patent pending Drop-Stop® technology. These beautifully machined 110 BCD asymmetric 4-bolt chainrings are optimized for your 1x Shimano CX / road / gravel drivetrain whether you run Dura Ace 9000, Ultegra 6800, 105 5800, or Tiagra 4700. They are also offset for the ideal 1x chainline.

Compatibility
- Fits 110 BCD asymmetric 4-bolt cranks
- All sizes compatible with Dura Ace 9000, Ultegra 6800, 105 5800, RS510, Tiagra 4700 or 4703, Sora R3000 or R3030, and Claris R2000 or R2030 cranks.
- 38-50t are compatible with 105 R7000, Ultegra R8000, and Dura-Ace R9100. The 36t chainring is NOT compatible with these cranks.
- NOT compatible with Dura-Ace R9200, Ultegra R8100, and 105 R7100 Cranks
- Size 42t and larger will work with the Dura Ace 9100 power meter
- Mounts in the big ring position of the cranks but is offset inward for perfect chainline.
- The stock 2x bolts will not work. You will need our 6mm bolts which are optimized for single ring mounting.
- If using a 9-speed drivetrain use a 10-speed chain. It fits tighter for better chain retention

96 mm BCD Chainrings for Shimano XTR M9000 and M9020
This is a 96mm BCD chainring for a 1X chainring for XTR M9000 crankset with the proven chain retention of our Drop-Stop® chainring. They fit only the Shimano XTR M9000 and M9020 cranksets (race and trail respectively). They have an asymmetrical 96 mm BCD with built-in threaded standoffs to provide the ideal 1X chainline.

Compatibility
- These rings fit on the Shimano XTR M9000 and M9020 1x or 2x cranksets
- Use only the stock Shimano XTR chainring bolts (M7x.75)
- You will not use the stock bolt caps when mounting this ring. The stock bolts will thread into the chainring’s standoffs from the outside of the crankset
For 1x9, 1x10, 1x11 and 1x12 drivetrains (including SRAM Eagle)
