Kodiak Canvas introduces its new Super Deluxe VX series of Flex-bow tents. VX tents by Kodiak Canvas have the features of the deluxe flex bow tent, plus 2 additional large windows at the ends. If your camping includes warmer weather, then this option may be ideal for you. Large windows on all sides allow you to really open things up maximizing ventilation and airflow. Because of the overlapping design, you can partially unzip these windows during stormy weather to get some airflow while still keeping the rain out. Of course, these versatile tents are four-season and give a tremendous year-round performance. Get the flex Bow VX tent with the quality you can trust from Competitive Edge.
These are watertight! There is no increased chance of water leaking, because of the side windows. It's the same canvas closing the windows from the interior, plus a mesh screen - giving it even more protection against leaking.
We have taken our deluxe versions and replaced the vents with huge windows (everything else is the same). Windows on all four sides allow you to really open the tent up providing amazing openness. You get superb ventilation and improved temperature management. In daytime or hot conditions, zip the windows down and let the fresh air circulate. At night or when the temperature drops, zip up the windows partially or all the way.
Whether you are headed to the campground with your family, or elk camp with your hunting buddies, this rugged, all-season tent is well suited for the occasion. Made with premium-grade, Hydra-Shield, 100% cotton duck canvas. The tight weave and silicone finish make the canvas watertight yet breathable, minimizing condensation and mugginess. Go ahead and touch the inside walls during a downpour this canvas will not wick water. The Kodiak flex bow Vx tent frame has tempered, spring steel rods that keep the tent taut, and robust 1-inch steel tube poles that will hold up to fierce winds. The floor is a seamless, heavy-duty, puncture-resistant, 16 oz vinyl that keeps water out.
Easy, one-person setup takes only a few minutes after you have it staked out. The steep walls and 6'6" high ceiling provide a roomy interior with stand-up, walk-around comfort.

Super easy to setup, very spacious
I used this tent for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I love how easy it is to set up. There were just two of us, so there was a lot of room, but somehow we used it all.

Impressed
I have yet to use the tent. But I did set it up out in the yard and sprayed it down with the hose. No leaks & the water ran right off the tent. The tent is great! Very fast & easy for one person to set up by themselves. Lots of room as well. Wish I would have bought one years ago.

Awesome Watertight Tent
I want to congratulate Kodiak on building such an excellent tent. Having represented quality tent makers such as Woods Canada, Lafuma & White Stag over the years, I know a bit about tents and how many manufactures skimp on details. Kodiak went above and beyond to pay attention to the details that really matter. We received our Kodiak tent and were pleased how easy the Flex Bow System set up. Within 24 hours, we received the first of two rounds of +4" rain falls over the next 7 days along with high winds. Our Kodiak Super Deluxe Flex Bow 10x14 remained steadfast and bone dry !
This is also the roomiest tent I have seen and glad we opted for the side windows as it will double as a screen tent next spring/summer when the MN state birds the mosquito return. Keep up the good work designing and building the best tent we have ever owned.

Amazing tent
Couldnt be happier with my purchase. The tent and vestibule arrived in only 3 days. Got it set up and seasoned. Not a drop of water got inside. Took it out camping the following weekend. The quality is impressive to say the least. This tent will provide many years of memories.

Q: I recently purchased one of your tents, I really couldn't wait for the package to arrive, I was so anxious to see it with my own two eyes. And it finally did arrive!, and as Im opening the box to see all the goodies as I am unfolding or should I say unrolling one of the parts of the tent; I realized that this size is already taking a lot of space, if not all of it, already , send I'm only at the beginning tents in to putting this baby up. Then my heart sank in deeply to realize that , yes I had purchased a size (1) too big. So here is my question, taking a deep breath.... exhale!,,,,, Im still within the grace period for a return, and exchange for a much more conducive item that will make me a much happier and satisfied human being in the planet. Q: I just received this tent. In the manual it shows the 2-piece Upright Poles and Awning Poles having a metal wire connecting the 2 parts of each pole, just like the 2-piece T-Pole. However, my Upright Poles and Awning Poles do not have this connecting wire. Instead, each pole is 2 separate pieces, and they are identical to the Upright Poles and Awning Poles shown for your 9x8 tent (Model 6098). How do I get the correct poles? Gina

With my growing concern on wide spreading ticks that carry Lime disease, I am considering a Permethrin based solution that is known to be a good tick repellent and apply the Permethrin solution directly onto my Kodiak canvas tents. The question is whether the Permethrin solution do any harm to the canvas material of the tents. Would you let me know if the idea of using the Permethrin solution would not harm the water repellence of the tents, please? Thank you.

Q: Thinking about the 10x14 deluxe flex bow tent. It is tapered the higher you get - I would like to know what the dimensions are at 3 ft above the ground. I have two disc-o-bed cots (bunk bed cots) and would need to place one at each end but at 36-in tall and 7 ft long they might not fit. I would like the actual dimensions at the 3 ft high level please?
