Compatibility / Fitment
- This socket is only compatible with smaller 6-spline lug nuts.
- Typically compatible with: M10x1.25, 3/8"x24, M12x1.5, M12x1.25, 1/2"x20, & 7/16"x20 Thread Sizes
- Measure the diameter of your lug nut splines and compare to 'Socket Inner Diameter' measurement in the diagram above.
- NOT COMPATIBLE with SUV/Truck thread sizes: M14x1.5, M14x2, 9/16"x18.
- NOT COMPATIBLE with Spike Lug Nuts.
Installation
- Before using the socket, make sure the socket splines match that of your lug nuts. If there is too much play (ie too much "wiggle" room), the socket may crack or round off your lug nuts. NOTE: The socket will break if used on mismatching lug nuts.
- During use (loosening or tightening your lug nuts), ensure you are holding/leveraging your wrench properly. Failure to do this puts too much extra pressure on the socket and can lead to breaking/cracking. NOTE: The socket will break if not used properly.
