Sauna Shield™ Sauna Wood Oil is a pure, pharmaceutical-grade paraffin oil developed in Finland to protect sauna benches and wood surfaces from moisture, stains, and wear—without introducing toxins, solvents, or artificial fragrances into your sauna environment.

Unlike surface-coating products, this oil penetrates deep into the wood grain, creating a durable internal barrier that helps prevent sweat, water, and impurities from being absorbed. The result is wood that stays cleaner, lasts longer, and feels natural under heat.

How to Use

Clean & dry the wood thoroughly before oiling

Apply oil using a soft brush, soft sponge, or lint-free cloth

Allow to absorb for 30–60 minutes

Wipe off any excess oil

Heat the sauna to speed absorption (recommended ~50°C / 120°F)

If the oil absorbs immediately, repeat treatment.

Used tools can be cleaned with water or disposed of safely. The oil does not pose a risk of spontaneous combustion.
