Blower Motor Resistor (BMR) for 93-96 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Automatic Temperature Control (ATC). Compatible with both the 4.0L/I6 engine and the 5.2/V8.  If your blower motor only works on one speed, or blows high speed only, then you need one of these.  Mopar part # 4720046.

This fits ONLY 1993, 1994, 1995 or 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokees with Automatic Temperature Control (ATC).  ATC means you turn a knob and set a specific number temperature on the digital Heat/AC controller. Please review all pics and make sure this is the BMR that will fit your ZJ.  Last two pics are there to show what the electrical connectors look like that fit this BMR.  Ensure you have those two connector plugs in your ZJ.  If you don't, then this isn't the Blower Motor Resistor that you need.  Pro tip:  When removing your connectors it's helpful to have a small right angle pick, or even a coat hanger bent at 90 degrees to pry up the flexible locking lever on the outside of each connector.
