Vitamin K2, chemically defined as menaquinone, is a lipophilic vitamin produced by bacterial fermentation. Its chemical structure belongs to the class of quinones, similarly to coenzyme Q10, which have the ability to accept and donate electrons, participating in various oxidoreductive reactions at a physiological level. The patented formulation MenaQ7, present in Terranova supplements, is the long lateral isoprene chain form of menaquinone, biologically the most active. At a physiological level, Vitamin K plays a role in blood coagulation thanks to its oxidoreductive action, in fact as many as 8 plasma proteins come into play in the coagulation cascade, all dependent on Vitamin K. It is important to remember that the specific antagonist of this Vitamin is dicoumarol . It is useful to supplement Vitamin K2 in case of blood loss. Vitamin K is extremely important in the control of bone problems, to be associated with Vitamin D3, as it allows the activation of a protein, Osteocalcin, synthesized by osteoblasts, which plays a fundamental role in the fixation of Calcium to the bone. Vitamin K2 is also useful for cardiovascular well-being, as it reduces bone calcifications that produce arterial sclerotization; this mechanism appears to be mediated by the activation of periostin, a matrix protein that reduces calcifications at the vessel wall level.

Rice bran stabilized, very rich source of vitamin E and its isomers, B vitamins, minerals, fiber and essential fatty acids. Furthermore, as many as 100 different antioxidant compounds are listed (e.g. alpha lipoic acid which recycles vitamins C and E, coenzyme Q 10) and superoxide dismutase, an enzyme which intervenes in the neutralization of free radicals.

Cabbage and Parsley they are plants naturally rich in vegetable oils and Vitamin K1.

Coriander leaves which contain vitamins K and A, necessary for the optimal absorption of vitamin D 3 and for the natural synthesis of vitamin D in the body.

MCT (Medium chain triglycerides) are necessary to act as a carrier for Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2, as lipophilic vitamins favor their absorption.

How to use

Take 1 capsule per day preferably with meals.
