The 1996 Service Station Set was a #57 Switcher pulling two steel ore cars number 6486-1, and 6486-2. The 6486-3 became available later as an add on piece for the set. The Switcher is Black with Silver sides having a Red panel with LIONEL LINES and an end view of their tubular track in the silver gray color. The three ore cars are all Silver Gray in color, having the same Red Named Panel as the switcher. The ore load is a dark Brown color. A very good looking set of cars.
