For sizes made to order, send newel post dimensions and a quote will be sent back with a estimated dispatch time.
Items will arrive in two parts so that it is easier to work on them and will require gluing together after painting or varnishing is finished.
Drop box description
When selecting full cap from the drop box it corresponds to the picture 1. Half cap corresponds to picture 3
When selecting the finish from the drop box:
Unfinished represents clean wood ready to be painted, varnished or stained
Primed represents that the cap is already white primed.
When selecting the size:
As an example:
When you select from drop box Newel cap 70 this means it will fit a newel post with dimension 70mm x 70mm and no bigger
When you select from drop box Newel cap 120 this means it will fit a newel post with dimension 120mm x 120mm and no bigger
Timber:
Made from Kiln Dried European Pine wood
The base is made from a single piece of wood for all dimensions.
The Ball:
From 70mm to and including 90mm is made from a single piece of wood.
From 95mm up to 120mm is made from two pieces engineered together.
