This piece has been handmade using a piece of wood found in my local forest after a storm clear up

I have sanded the wood to get a smooth, flat surface, then burnt on the design using hand tools, no laser printing here!

The wood has been finished with a clear lacquer to bring out the natural markings in the wood and to seal and protect it.

All the wood used in my Pyrography projects has been found in forests after storms, rescued from skips or donated.
