The hull of the model is made of metal, everything else is made of plastic. The ship propellers need to be assembled in place, glue is included.

The model's hull comes attached to a plastic shell/base that is made to simulate water and waves/wakes. The model could be displayed on this base. 

A wood-like plastic display stand that measures 7 inches by 2.75 inches is included. The hardware and screws to mount the model onto the display stand are included.
