Victorian era hand painted Royal Vienna 4” mug or tankard

The gilt has worn off in spots on the handle and the inside top.

The base is marked with a beehive and Austria

There is wear and a small chip to the base as shown

There are also areas of paint or gilt loss to the body which are visible in the pictures.

The underside of the handle has a hole for a possible lid? But I see no signs of there ever having one.
