This Holy Land Melon was selected and cultivated by David Solomon, one of th founders of Kibbuts Ein Dor in Lower Galilee. The fruit tastes like a combination of pinapple and banana. It sets 2-4 lbs fruit and turns yllow as it matures under its coarse, heavy netting.
