Overall acceptable condition - see photos. Some wear & fading to hardcover. Foxing to fore and bottom edges, end papers, and throughout. Binding split a little at front hardcover (inside) but holding strong. No names or writing.

The book is an established classic in its field. It was first published in 1907 to meet an earlier revival of interest in hand-made lace, when material on the subject was much scarcer than today, and its content has easily withstood the test of time.
