Operating principle
The
principle of operation of the grid is based on the rotation of the sowing unit
bushing, into the calibrated recesses of which the seeds of the seed fall. The
brush guard leaves one or more seeds (depending on its adjustment) in each
recess of the sowing arm, which are ejected into the furrow by the blade of the
original design. Seeding density depends on the pitch of the recesses of the
suspension bush and the adjustment of the brush stop.
Sowing
is carried out in well-prepared soil in an ordinary way with row spacing, which
corresponds to the technology of sowing individual crops. After sowing, the
soil is rolled and, if necessary, mulched and watered. After work, the retina
should be cleaned of soil and seed residues.
Seeding device
The
seeder consists of seeders with mesh hoppers planted on a common shaft. Each
sowing device is equipped with one sowing sleeve for sowing seeds of radish,
carrots, parsley and is fixed on the cross beam of the Christmas tree with the
possibility of adjusting the row spacing. To ensure the reliability of the
retina and the accuracy of sowing, the seeder is equipped with a brush limiter
and a seed ejector.
Preparing the seeder for work
Set
the desired seeding rate by setting the desired number of seeds on the shaft.
Adjust
the position of the seeding stop of the brush to the desired number of seeds.
Check
and, if necessary, adjust the seed rate by rolling the retina with seeds on a
flat surface.
