We are happy to offer for your consideration a beautiful Original oil painting from France. Featuring a very beautiful stone bridge scene of with homes and the french countryside . Made in the early 1900s this one-of-a-kind piece is in very good antique conditions. It was painted by the painter Georges Planes 1887-1977. A fairly well known artist of his time. His painting technique is somewhat in the impressionist style, but features a thick layering of the paint that gives it a three-dimensional texture. This particular piece was painted on a wood panel, and then sat into a hand carved black forest frame. The frame measures about 4 inches. it sticks out from the wall about 2 inches. Very well executed and a very appropriate frame for this artwork.

The painting itself is in very good antique condition as is the frame.

It measures 14” x 21” The painting on a wood panel and is in good antique condition.
