SpeedFactory Racing High Performance MLSS-HP K-Series Head Gaskets K20 / K24 87-87.5mm

SpeedFactory Racing has introduced a line of high-performance head gaskets designed for Honda/Acura K20/K24 engines with specific head types. These MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) gaskets are built to provide a reliable seal for engines with high compression, nitrous, or turbocharging. When used in conjunction with SpeedFactory's Extreme Duty L19 Head Stud Kit, these gaskets have been tested in real-world conditions up to 1000hp and have shown excellent results (and even up to 1400hp+ with stainless wire O-ringed sleeved blocks). Unlike stopper ring designs, these gaskets do not feature a stopper ring but have been found to perform better with O-rings for reliable combustion sealing. The gaskets are 0.040" thick, compensating for cylinder head and block surfacing compared to the OEM 0.028" thickness. They utilize a 4-layer design with specialized embossments that increase the height of active combustion sealing, making them ideal for high-output engines that experience significant head lift or movement. The gaskets also incorporate an internal silicone bead on the oiling passages to enhance sealing. One notable feature is the enlarged head stud holes, which accommodate 1/2" head studs, reducing assembly time and effort during engine assembly. The only holes that require modification when using 1/2" head studs are the two locating dowel holes. These gaskets have been successfully used on wet deck Bullet Billet blocks with 1/2" head studs, achieving power levels of 1400+whp. The gaskets are available in three sizes: 86.50mm, 87.50mm, and 88.50mm, each suitable for specific bore ranges.
