The Elson Readers were planned as an extension series to go along with the school reading program from the 20’s. The Green cloth boards have orange lettering on the front and the spine, the front cover has a Knight on a horse heading to a castle. It has beautiful color illustrations. 1929 by Scott, Foresman and Company.

This book is in very good antique shape. There is wear on the edges of the binding and cover consistent with age. The binding is in good shape with wear on the ends. The pages are intact and secure in the book. There are some tears on the bottom of pages 320-327, does not affect story on the pages.
