❓ Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • Q: Charger LED turns green but the bike doesn’t charge?
A: Your battery may be fully charged, asleep, or BMS-locked.
  • Q: My battery is flat. Is the charger faulty?
A: Not always. Battery issues are more common than charger faults. Test your battery first.
  • Q: The LED is flashing red – is it faulty?
A: A flashing red light indicates a charging error. The battery may be too deeply discharged or have an internal fault.

To ensure the safe operation of your lithium-ion battery, please follow these UK Government (OPSS) guidelines:

  • Never Charge Unattended: Do not leave the battery charging overnight or while you are out of the house.
  • Clear Escape Routes: Do not charge batteries in hallways or near exits where a fire could block your escape.
  • Unplug Promptly: Disconnect the charger once the LED turns green (Fully Charged).
  • Monitor Heat: If the battery or charger becomes excessively hot, smells, or makes noise, disconnect immediately.
  • Cool Surfaces: Only charge on hard, flat, non-combustible surfaces with good ventilation.
