All our airplane plans come on 24 x 36 inch paper.
Sheets are then rolled (not folded) for shipping.
The full color projected and isometric drawing also makes a nice poster.
Our airplane plans are "engineered".
All parts are fully modeled in a 3D CAD system and then assembled virtually. We then laser cut and prototype a real model to insure quality and accuracy before releasing it for sale.
NOTE:
This kit is not for beginners lots of sand to fit parts that can be tedious to novice builders.
The Aerobug utilizes hard (high density) balsa. The open frame design is not suitable for the softer (squishy) balsa.
The wings are quite fragile making this kit unsuitable for younger children.
Do not shrink the tissue paper, wings will warp very badly.
Overall this is a fun little plane to build and fly. We did not use the aileron tabs in our prototype builds and the plane flew well. We 3D printed a heavy propeller to get the CG to come out right. Very light finger bending of the elevator and rudder was all that was needed to get it flying strait or in circles. Zero wind or indoor flying is recommended as this is a rather small plane overall.
NOTE:
This kit has no landing gear or wheels.
