The ventilation device of the VUSH-6 helmet is designed for additional ventilation of the GM in order to remove carbon dioxide and eliminate fogging of the GM sight glass and the pilot's face.

 VUSH-6 consists of the following elements:

 - ejector (expanding nozzle inside the device),

 - air suction valve 

 - diaphragm valve 

 - additional supply valve 

 - shutdown mechanism
