The Blaster-X Integrated LED Tail Light for the 2014-2019 KTM 1290 Super Duke R is a complete, plug-and-play replacement for your factory tail light — designed, built, and assembled by Custom LED in the USA. It drops into the stock location using the OEM connectors for both the tail light and the turn signals, so there's no cutting, splicing, or bodywork to modify.
This clear-lens version packs 24 ultra-bright red LEDs for the running and brake lights plus 24 ultra-bright amber LEDs for the fully integrated turn signals — all on stealth black boards for a clean, blacked-out look. Programmable Safety Features
Built in, ready to ride — and fully customizable. Every safety feature below is built right into the tail light and works the moment you install it. When you want to change the defaults, Custom LED's 2nd-Generation Programming Interface lets you do it yourself — enable or disable the startup sequence, choose your Brake Alert pattern, fine-tune the running and brake brightness, run a Demo Mode, or reset to factory defaults.
Programming is done simply by grounding the strobe-mode wire — no computer or special programmer required. The easiest way to do it is with the Blaster-X Control Switch (see Recommended Accessories below), and full step-by-step instructions ship with every unit.
Our proprietary pulse-width-modulation technology safely drives the LEDs to their maximum possible output — the engine behind what makes these the brightest tail lights in production.
The instant you touch the brakes, the brake light fires an attention-grabbing flash pattern before going solid — alerting drivers behind you and potentially buying back valuable reaction time. Choose from 11 selectable patterns, or disable it for standard brake operation.
On the side you're signaling, the light cycles between full-intensity amber and off for true high-contrast turn visibility — not just a color change. The red running light resumes once the signal cancels, and if you're braking while turning, the brake light takes priority between blinks.
Triggers an intense, high-frequency strobe across the tail light that's impossible to ignore — ideal as a hazard / emergency attention-getter. Engaged on demand through the control wire (pairs perfectly with the Blaster-X Control Switch below).
Blinks in perfect lock-step with your bike's flasher relay — compatible with OEM, aftermarket, and programmable relays — and if it ever misses a blink command, it automatically blinks that side so your signal never just sits on.
Custom LED turn signals are intentionally non-sequential — non-sequential signals have been shown to be more conspicuous and effective on motorcycles.

The Custom LED 2014-2019 KTM 1290 Super Duke R Blaster-X Integrated LED Tail Light was designed to function as a direct replacement for the OEM tail light. The unit will install with exactly the same fit and electrical connectors as the OEM unit. No cutting, splicing, or bodywork modifications are required, what so ever.
Additional hardware may be necessary if you wish to remove the OEM fender assembly and/or modify the bodywork on your motorcycle. The fender assembly typically supports the license plate and OEM blinker lamps. Keep in mind, our product is a direct replacement for the OEM tail light, and does not require any additional modifications.
Good news for this model: our Blaster-X tail light is fully compatible with your motorcycle as-is — no bulb-out warnings, diagnostic errors, or fast blink rates. There are no external load equalizers or flasher relays necessary for proper operation. Any accessories above are optional.
Installation requires that you remove the OEM tail light from the motorcycle and install this unit in its place. Please consult a qualified technician or your repair manual for the proper procedure to remove the OEM tail light.
