All graded first quality kiln dried timber
These boxes are not poor quality off-cuts or board ends, but selected timber that is ideal for many woodwork projects including furniture and cabinetry, model making, wooden toys and board games, box work and many other woodcrafts.
All the timber is kiln dried, and all boards will be planed on at least the 2 widest faces; edges may be planed or sawn.
The boxes will typically contain a selection from the following hardwood species, but may occasionally contain small quantities of speciality softwood species as well (the last 3 in the list):

The typical dimensions of the timber supplied will be 250-455mm in length, 15-50mm in thickness (though the vast majority are likely to be in the 18-25mm thickness range) and 20-150mm in width

We have an ethical purchasing policy ensuring that the natural environment, in particular the biodiversity and sustainable production of forests, is considered of the utmost importance. Where possible timbers are sourced from FSC certified supplies.
