The two-pointer "height" and differential pressure indicator UVPD-15 is designed for simultaneous measurement of the nominal height in the airtight cabin of the aircraft and pressure difference (the difference between the air pressure in the cabin and the atmospheric pressure) within the heights from 0 to 15000 m and the pressure difference from -0.04 up to +0.6 kg / cm2.
The principle of the "altitude" indicator of the UVDD-15 device is based on the use of the elastic properties of the sensing element - the aneroid box, the pressure difference indicator - the manometric box.
