1964 Cheney English Plaid Lunch Box from England - Vintage.

Up for consideration is an extremely rare and difficult to find 1964 English Plaid (red) Lunch Box from England. Please examine each photo carefully as this is the exact item you will receive.

This box is in excellent condition for being 58 yrs old. It is very clean inside and out with very sparse shelf wear in the usual areas - it’s remarkable.

The Box possesses two tiny nicks on the back panel three stripes from the right, two stripes down from the top. I believe they are visible in photo #8. The only other notable anomaly of significance is a tiny scratch just to the right of the handle looking down on it with the lid towards you. Other than that, the Box is super nice.

The clip latch works great and looks good. The sliding hinges and retractable handle all look good and function properly and the lid fits snug and securely to the Box. This is a nice Box. No dents.

All in all, if you’re looking to add a plaid to your existing collection this little English Plaid is a good choice. It’s cool and it’s rare and it will fit in with any collection perfectly as it not only displays quite nicely but it will just add a nice touch. These English Plaids don’t come around very often. They pop up from time to time but they’re getting harder to find.
