The information on the back is so interesting, and it's wonderful to have the history. This slate tile was hand cut/chiseled in the late 1700's! It is amazing shape for the age and purpose. Artistic New Orleans street scene shows the iconic French Quarter buildings. 9" x 7" and a decent weight to it, can be hung or put on a plate stand.
