Welder Fantasy 3in1 OVER 250 semi-automatic welding machine  is a microprocessor-based welding source based on IGBT technology, suitable for welding carbon steel, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, copper, brass, magnesium, titanium and all aluminum alloys.  As the first on the Polish market, OVER TIGMIG 250 enables MIG / MAG, TIG AC / DC and MMA welding . The top-class device sets new standards among AC / DC welding machines, and the user-friendly control panel ensures the selection of all necessary operating parameters. Integrated construction with  a cooler and a welding cart  enables efficient and comfortable work.




 IGBT
IGBT  technology - Insulated  Gate Bipolar Transistor -  is modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field effect transistors with a high breakdown voltage and the switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment Welder   Fantasy 3in1 OVER TIGMIG 250  P / 4 welder enables welding using the following methods:



MIG method symbol

MIG / MAG  - Gas shielded arc welding is one of the most commonly used processes for the production of welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process consists in fusing the edges of the workpiece and the consumable electrode material with the heat of an electric arc glowing between the electrode in the form of a solid wire and the welded detail, in an inert or active gas shield.



 

MIG method symbol

FCAW -  Thanks to the polarity reversal function, it is possible to weld without shielding gas, with FCAW self-shielding wire. It is a method with the use of a self-shielding flux-cored wire for welding (in all positions) steel of normal and increased strength, not exceeding 510 MPa. Self-shielding wire can be used in single and multi-layer welding processes, using power sources with both flat and falling characteristics. The wire is intended for general production works, also in field conditions, and for welding structures that do not meet the requirements for impact strength. DC welding current (-).

 



MIG method symbol

AUTO  - synergic settings - automatic adjustment of welding parameters such as voltage and intensity of the welding arc and wire feeder speed. The user selects the thickness of the welding wire on the panel and the type of metal to be welded, to which the device automatically selects the welding parameters.

 



TIG DC PULS

TIG DC PULS  lift-arc  - arc ignition takes place through the contact of the electrode with the material to be welded, the pulse function allows you to weld thin elements by periodically changing the current intensity.

TIG DC lift-arc

TIG DC lift-arc  - In the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) method, the electric arc is struck in an inert gas (argon) shield between the welded element and a non-consumable electrode made of pure tungsten or tungsten with additives. In the TIG lift-arc mode, the arc strikes when the electrode comes into contact with the workpiece. In TIG DC mode, the current is constant.



 

TIG DC HF

TIG DC HF  - In order to completely eliminate the possibility of contamination of the weld with tungsten, it is recommended that the electrode does not touch the workpiece; for this purpose, contactless arc ignition is used with the use of high-frequency discharges generated by the ionizer built into the device.

 



TIG AC PULSE

TIG AC PULS lift-arc  - welding in this mode is a combination of alternating current and pulse, which enables welding of very thin aluminum elements. The arc is ignited by contact of the electrode with the welded material.

 



TIG AC PULSE

TIG AC PULS HF  - a function that enables welding of thin-thickness elements made of aluminum. Non-contact ignition thanks to the use of an ionizer.

 



TIG AC LIFT-ARC

TIG AC lift-arc -  a function that allows aluminum to be welded through the use of alternating current, which performs the cathodic cleaning function when welding aluminum. Thanks to the possibility of setting the AC BALANCE parameter, i.e. the alternating current balance, it is possible to adjust the ratio of the duration of its phases to each other

 



TIG PULSE HF

TIG AC HF  - an analogous function enabling aluminum welding with alternating current, ignition is made contactless by high-frequency current generated by the ionizer

 



MMA DC PLUS

MMA DC +  - The MMA method uses a covered electrode, consisting of a metal core covered with a sheath. An electric arc is generated between the end of the electrode and the material being welded. The arc is struck by touching the tip of the electrode to the welded material. MMA DC + means welding with positive polarity - more heat is generated in the material and less heat is generated in the electrode.

 



MMA DC MINUS

MMA DC-  - the difference between MMA DC + is that the polarity in MMA DC - mode is negative, so the heat distribution is opposite - more heat is generated on the electrode and less heat is generated in the welded material.

 

Versatility is undoubtedly one of the greatest advantages of  OVER TIGMIG devices . The possibility of welding with pulsed current in TIG mode (with full pulse modulation) gives users unlimited possibilities when welding aluminum alloys, carbon steels, stainless
and acid-resistant steels.

 

The device is equipped with a EURO socket. Enables welding  with EURO MIG / MAG torches  and a  EURO TIG torch . An additional control plug socket enables the connection of an additional external control device to the device (e.g. control pedal, Spool Gun control).

* HF  - the device is equipped with an ionizer, which allows for contactless inspection of the welding arc.

* PRE and POST GAS  - gas flow before and after welding.

* UP and DOWN SLOPE  - rising and falling welding current.

* PULSE  - the pulsating current function, is mainly used when welding thin elements (even 0.1mm thick), metals with a low melting point, e.g. lead, or welding in forced positions. Other advantages of pulsed welding include a smaller heat-affected zone, greater stability of the welding arc, and greater fusion depth and improved appearance of the weld face.

* Inductance control in the MIG / MAG method  - Properly selected welding inductance contributes to the reduction of the amount of spatter. It depends on the diameter of the welding wire, the shielding gas used, the amperage and the welding position. Reducing the inductance makes the arc more stable and focused, while increasing the inductance produces a smoother pool and reduces spatter. Properly selected, it is characterized by a stable arc, even transfer of liquid metal droplets, maintaining a constant size of the weld pool and a characteristic repetitive sound without splashes and explosions.
*  ARC FORCE - the function stabilizing the welding process by maintaining the voltage of the welding arc, regardless of its length, and facilitates control of the amount of spatter.

*  BURN BACK  - a function that prevents the electrode wire from sticking to the contact tip by temporarily ejecting the wire after the welding process is finished. The device allows you to set the burn back time in the range of 0-10s.

*  HOT START  - a function that facilitates the start of welding in both MMA and MIG / MAG modes. When the arc is struck, the welding current is temporarily increased in order to heat the material and the electrode at the point of contact and to properly shape the penetration and the weld face in the initial stage of welding.

*  PRE GAS  - control of the shielding gas flow time before welding,

*  POST GAS  - regulation of the time of shielding gas flow after welding.
