NOTE: I PRESENTLY HAVE SEVERAL OF THE VENTUS BLUE 5S SHAFTS IN THE BLUE COLOR, ,& I ALSO HAVE A FEW RED/BLACK COLORED VENTUS BLUE 5S SHAFTS IN STOCK, BUT THEY GO FAIRLY FAST, WHEN I DO HAVE SEVERAL IT REALLY GIVES THE BUYER MORE OPTIONS, BECAUSE WITH THE USE OF THE DIFFERENTIAL DEFLECTION SHAFT MACHINE I CAN MEASURE EACH ONE AT THE BUTT, MID & TIP, THEN GIVE THE BUYER THEIR CHOICE OF WHICH SHAFT BEST FITS THEIR SWING, THIS IS THE BEST THING TO DO AS IT GIVES THE BUYER THE SHAFTS TRUE PROFILE, THEN THEY GET THAT SHAFT, NOTHING IS WORSE TO BUY A SHAFT NOT KNOWING WHAT THE NUMBERS ARE & IF ITS THE BEST FIT FOR YOUR SWING, THE PROCESS THAT THE SHAFT COMPANIES USE A FREQUENCY MACHINE ARE MEASURING THE SHAFTS TOTAL LENGTH AT 46 INCHES, THEY DO NOT BREAK THE SHAFT DOWN INTO SECTIONS THE WAY MY MACHINE DOES, SO THEREFORE A CPM READING DOESN'T REALLY SHOW WHAT THE SHAFTS BUTT, MID & TIP READING ARE, LEAVING A LOT TO BE DESIRED IN HOW THAT SHAFT FITS YOUR SWING.
NOTE: I also have several of the Ventus Blue 5S model in the red/black color scheme available, some believe these shafts are the Ventus Red which they are not but Blue shafts painted red/black for the Taylormade Stealth series they have similar numbers to the Ventus Blue's & like all shafts are all slightly different from the others, some will be slightly stiffer in the butt, mid or tip while others will be softer, but Ventus Reds have even softer tips than the Blue models, the Ventus Blue Red/Black 5S TR shafts that are in the Stealth Series 2 drivers are even stiffer in the butt & very stiff in the mid sections with tips similar to the standard Ventus Blue's, the new Ventus Blue TR 5S that is in the IQ-10 is a very good shaft, with a softer butt section that loads more than the Ventus Blue standards plus it has a slightly stiffer mid & tip section, these shaft are very close to the Ventus Black shafts & have them listed now, but when I have multiple shafts in the same flex range I give the buyer their choice after sending them the numbers from the butt, mid & tip to help them match the best shaft to fit their swing, will be listing the numbers by my shaft deflection machine on all of the stiff 5 S's I have in stock right now soon. If you have any questions please let me know
Up for sale on Buy-It-Now for 165.00, is a new, 46.5 inch long, Fujikura Ventus Blue 5S 55 gram stiff shaft, this is the one of the most popular shaft in the golf world today & the 5S is probably the most popular of the Blue line, it is a little softer in the butt usually, but not always, than the 6S, plus it has almost the same mid & tip stiffness so will load more & is a great feeling, premium shaft which has a low torque rating of 3.5 which will not allow the shaft to open up no matter how hard you can swing, this shaft is in New unused condition & for a Driver or Fairway wood shaft in stiff flex & will be installed with any of the Nike, Driver or Fairway Wood sleeves installed, such as the Covert, Vapor, Vapor Pro, Driver or Fairway Wood sleeve installed or the earlier Straight 8 Driver sleeve installed, such as the VR-ll Str. 8, VR Pro Str. 8, VR-s Str. 8 or the Mach Speed Str. 8 Driver Sleeve installed. The shaft will come with a new grip of your choice of which I have many from Golf Pride, Winn, Lamkin, Iomic and many others in all sizes. I will also build the shaft to your specs, for length, sleeve setup and ship it out as soon as I get the shaft built to the buyer's specs, once it has been purchased, this is the shaft that is most used by many Tour Players today in their Driver or Fairway Woods, a very well preforming shaft for players that want a mid/high kick with a stiff tip for a low/mid ball flight with low spin that will allow the ball to roll out after it lands, this shaft as mentioned has a pretty stiff tip section to keep the spin down over softer tipped higher launching, higher spinning shafts, this depends on the players tempo, swing speed, launch conditions, shoulder plane & driver loft as well. It suits players with a mid to slow tempo, since the butt section is a little stiffer than the other shafts, but softer than the Ventus 6S I sold recently & has almost the same tip stiffness, I have listed the numbers from 3 places on this shaft, since most are 44.75-44.5 inches long, if the shaft is a 46 inch uncut model the butt section will be softer than the number at the 44.75 inch length, as trimming the shaft at the butt lowers the kick point & makes it play stiffer in the butt section. So these shafts can be compared with several others that I have listed to help the buyer better evaluate not only this shaft but others as well, keep in mind that the shafts profile can help you with your accuracy, striking the ball at impact in the sweet spot and distance when it matches your swing parameters, such as tempo, shoulder plane, launch conditions, swing speed & other factors, it has a really low torque value at 3.5 degrees, so it will not open up at impact, even with faster higher swing speed swings. If you have any other questions or need help with any shafts I have listed and how they compare to this shaft and will help with your swing or help in picking a shaft, please let me know.

NOTE: all of these shafts I have in stock, except the ones marked sold up above at the moment, but I also sell them locally so may not get them listed as they may sell, but as time allows I will try to get them listed and as I get others in, those will be listed also. If you are interested in one of these other shaft listed above that I don't have listed yet, instead of the Ventus, please let me know & I will quote you a price. These numbers above relate to the profile of the shaft, the larger the number the stiffer it plays at that section, even though the butt section numbers don't show much difference, remember this reading is right below the grip, so a small difference can make a much larger difference in how the shaft loads & feels, basically the softer the butt the more it loads on the downswing & the more it unloads at impact, accelerating the head through the ball at impact. So since this shaft has been trimmed about 2 inches at the butt, to play shorter the reading is going to be stiffer than at the full 46 inch length & so if I trim it even shorter it will make the butt even stiffer, if you want to know how much let me know what length you want the shaft to be, & I will measure it at that length & for the best accurate way of doing this is to remove your present shaft from the head & measure it from the end of the sleeve to the end of the grip, as there isn't any standard playing length anymore with stock drivers. I also want to state that if we had several of these same exact shafts the numbers would be different, also, as the shafts companies can't make them the same, case in point, I recently had 3 of the Fuji Atmos Blacks, which I bought for a customer in another country, because he wanted 2 with different sleeves on them, I measured all 3 & sent him the numbers, the two he picked were the two softer ones, so remember if you try someone else shaft & it feels really good & think if you get the same it will be the same, there is a very small chance that it is going to happen, I have measured thousands of shafts & the two I sent him were as probably as close together as any two I have found in over 15 years of doing this & they weren't exactly the same either, but were reasonably close as any I have measure
