I originally purchased this magazine as a collectible in 1973 and it has been in my collection ever since. There were not very many of these on the ground back then, so I paid $100, about what it's worth now if you ignore the effects of inflation (which would be stupid--this collectible has declined in value!). Of course, this magazine was much harder to get ahold of in 1973.

I am using the CGC guidelines to grade this magazine a 0.5. Its major defect is a missing back cover. Almost all the front cover is present but it is taped to the pages. There are numerous tears in the front cover (picture 1). At least three are taped (see picture 7). Tape is very old: at least 50 years old, maybe more, so the glue has yellowed. Staples are present and the pages are stapled even though the front cover is taped. Pages are in nice condition compared to the covers. Picture number 2 is a picture of the back page (there is no back cover) and picture 7 is a picture of the inside front cover (you can see the tape) and the first page. The problems you see with that page are typical with other pages, though most pages do not have tears like you see in the bottom left of that inside page.

Normally, I provide great detail about all the flaws I find in a comic or magazine, but magazines or comics with such low ratings can't be described in detail. Look carefully at the high-res pictures. This is a 0.5 magazine (there is no 0), so there are no surprises. Email me with any questions. I will answer every one as promptly as possible. This magazine will ship USPS First Class Mail. It will be bagged and backed and then put in another plastic bag. The magazine will be sheathed or covered in cardboard to prevent any folding, bending, or other damage while in transit.
