This is a so-called "barrage" type shooting game.
Unusually for a shooting game of this period, only one button is required for operation. That single button handles four weapons: shot, piercing bullet, mosquito, and bomber. Details are described below.
Solid 2D graphics with pre-rendered polygons and a hard-edged worldview are depicted. It shares some similarities with the company's "Giga Wing," such as the horizontal screen vertical scrolling shooter and the system of absorbing enemy bullets to attack, but there is no connection in terms of story or setting.
There are a large number of enemy bullets, but it is important to time the reflection of these bullets by the Mosquito rather than avoiding them directly. Also, since there are no misses due to contact with the enemy, the key is how to get close to the enemy and defeat it.
