Up for consideration is a Batak divination rod for magical and calendrical observations. Very finely made. It's over 20 inches long. It's weighted, made of bone and water Buffalo horn. It's very precise. I found it 30 years ago during my travels there from a local from Sumatra. Very rare and in excellent condition. It's always been taken very good care of. The micro carvings are quite interesting.
