Standard Universal Size:
20" x 4.5" universal string wound filter cartridge fits most 20 inch big blue filter housings, as prefilter of reverse osmosis (RO) systems and whole house water filtration, as well as variety of commercial and industrial water treatment systems.

Long-Life Filter:
Our high dirt-loading capacity sediment filters can last up to 60,000 gallons. The filtered capacity and change-out cycle depends on the inlet water quality. Replace the filter at least every six months to maintain performance.

Higher Dirt-Holding Capacity:
The string wound filter has a deep graded honeycomb structure, dense near the inside core and more open and sparse near the outside edge, forming an effective depth filtration filter, catching larger particulates first and then smaller near the center core, effectively increasing the dirt holding capacity of the filter.

Q: What is a micron rating?
A: The unwanted particles found in water are measured in microns.
For example, a filter with a micron rating of 10 will filter out contaminants of 10 micron or larger. Our filter with 99% efficiency rating removes 99% of the particles at all above the 10 micron size.

Q: How to choose the right size?
A: If you choose the right size for your housing, there are not great influence on the flow rate when you replace them.
The size is small: there is a significant drop in flow rate.
The size is large: there is still some sediment in your water.
