A nice Stanley #3 bench plane in very good condition. Type 19 ('48 - '61) - has some paint spots which were splattered on at some point - no rust - complete - no broken parts -  no apologies. The handles are that purplish Brazillian wood. This plane is ready to provide a lifetime of service - a thorough cleaning will make it a collectible - I haven't done anything to it since it came my way. These planes were the last of the really good planes produced by Stanley - after this era, Stanley tools started a long steady decline in quality.
