Broken/Shattered Chamber Reamer

This issue may result from:

• Inadequate chip evacuation
• Insufficient or improper cutting oil
• Incorrect use of the chamber reamer

Recommendations:

• Use a roughing reamer before the finishing reamer.
• Alternatively, pre-drill the chamber to a size 0.5 mm undersized. This approach helps achieve better dimensional accuracy and control, especially when the bore is not perfectly straight.
