As a group they are spectacular. Also lovely as stand alone pieces for gifts for special occasions. They are retired pieces so more rare as the years go by.

Lladró is the leader in luxury porcelain since 1953 and have developed proprietary processes that resulted in a wide range of products and styles that is unparalleled in the world of porcelain. The brand still makes every piece in their workshop in Valencia, Spain.

This intricate porcelain piece featuring two hand painted courting cranes standing on a base of handmade reeds and flowers. It was issued in C1989.

The leaves and flowers are exquisite, in the Chinoiserie fashion, as are the graceful cranes, perfectly positioned for that balanced arrangement….so appealing!!

Elegant and stylised, the cranes are the aristocracy of the bird kingdom, bringing beauty to the marshes and the lagoons of our countryside with their presence.

Great for that special occasion gift, especially if they are a lover of nature or ornathologist…a sure eye pleasing treat if its to enhance your collection or home.

MEASUREMENTS: 11" Tall x 6 3/4" Long x 3 5/8" Deep/Wide.

CONDITION: Good condition apart from one leaf has been restored. I cannot find any other damage to the petals or figurines. Please see all photos.
