Excellent vintage condition, A superb sculpted female bust handmade from Shona stone, 15” inch tall, weigh about 20 pounds

Zimbabwe Carved and polished stone bust of a young African woman with deep cut eyes, plaited hair tied high on her head, The Shona people of Zimbabwe are known for their smooth soapstone sculptures marked by abstract features and stylised forms.

Woman is about 15” inch tall, weigh about 20 pounds. The only flaw I could find is a small chip on the base of the woman.
