Revolutionary Girl Utena

This is an Official Original one-of-a-kind Hand Painted Production Cel used in the making of the anime Revolutionary Girl Utena (少女革命ウテナ, Shōjo Kakumei Utena). Released in Japan from April 2, 1997 – December 24, 1997.  Produced by the Japanese Animation Studio J.C.Staff Co., Ltd. (株式会社ジェー・シー・スタッフ, Kabushiki-gaisha Jē Shī Sutaffu, J and C stand for "Japan Creative"), directed Kunihiko Ikuhara  and written by Yōji Enokido.  Adapted from the manga written by Chiho Saito and Be-Papas, an artist collective founded by Kunihiko Ikuhara and illustrated by Chiho Saito.

The Cel measures approximately 9 inches by 10.5 inches.
